Great video! I have a 1999 Jeep owned since 2001. A note on anti-seize: I have always anti-seized anything with threads. In turn, when I come back for round 2 and three on major repairs a decade later, I can attest that things always do come apart like butter. No need to bother with impacts. Copper anti-seize is good for high temp applications like exhaust manifolds. The gray/nickel based is good for the rest. I don't use it on interface fits such as between the ball joint and knuckle, though. By default, I don't want a chance of any gaps or movement there. I ensure those are clean and dry prior to assembly.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah I typically just use whichever anti-sieze I happen to have on the shelf. I should probably keep a bottle of each type and be smart about it.

No need to hit the stud, even with the nut on, it can deform. I ruined several before I figured this out. Hit the hole. Hit it hard. Like it owes you money. I had a hard time finding ball joints that fit my son's 99 Grand Cherokee, Five sets of aftermarket joints all had the wrong stud length. I ended up going with Dana Spicer and they fit perfectly. Keep up the good work!!

That's impressive narration. Looks like you were doing it from memory. Very natural. Very helpful video. Thanks!
