Du må passe på når du fuller olje på diffen att bilen står bein plass, viss du fyller for mye så vill den presse ut olje fra simringen uansett om du har montert ny.

Great video thank you. I made the same mistake of inserting the oil seal slightly too deep into the housing which didn’t stop the oil leaking and had to replace the oil seal just as you did. My question to you is….would a little bit of wear and minor grooves on the drive shaft also cause the oil to leak and if you think it could what would you suggest other than replacing the shaft end on which the oil seal sits?

Hi worn shaft, will probably be able to participate and give a small leak. mine is not quite nice and looks it gives a minimal leakage. I have considered replacing the entire shaft, but the original part should be very expensive. while unoriginal is much less expensive. but then one can wonder how the quality is ???

Jeg hadde min LC120 inne hos Toyota for nettopp dette. Var en liten lekkasje derfra når oljen ble varm. Etter bilen ble hentet fra Toyota et problemet blitt mye værre! Hva kan feilen da være? Er den plassert alt for langt inn?

Hei! JA tror du er inne på det... Jeg gjore samme feil selv! :( Tør nesten ikke innrømme det, men like godt at jeg gjør feilene så ikke alle andre trenger og gjøre det også! Men siden Toyota gjore jobben, så må de jo rette opp det etter seg. Regner med at de ikke gjore det gratis heller??? Min 120 er fortsatt død med turbo kontroll eller noe rundt det. Huff så frustrerende altså. Etter vært som disse bilene blir eldre, så er det færre mekanikkere som faktisk vet hva de skal gjøre, når man skal få de reparert, og prisene er blitt hinsides på verksted :( Lykke til! Hilsen Pål
