Great design....great execution.....great presentation. Really helps me justify a CNC plasma table. Having the freedom to get parts fast and iterate at low cost is gold. That was initially why I got into CNC machining - it was too expensive and very slow to prototype. Having all the tools in-house provides so many design options. Love it.

Bro, I saw your trailer video and watched twice on two separate occasions. I am very impressed with your skill level and your calm approach to actual big engineering problems. I bet you don't even think that you are that book smart, but clearly you are. Stay humble and just leave the compliments to us viewers cause you clearly deserve them. Just wanted to take a moment to congratulate your hard work and sticktoitivness. You only make it look very easy but so many of us viewing know that these things are hard to do for the average person. Lastly, I came to this vid based on a clean out of my KZbin subscriptions. KZbin (and for that matter all Social Media) is so very overwhelming. Clearing out 'junk channels' is the best decision for me. However I couldn't bring myself to delete Greg Owens, Marquez Brown Lee and a few others. You are among the few that made the cut. I actually don't think I'll ever unsubscribe from your vids. Again, great job on this entire channel and I hope your financial goals are reached due to your love of what you do.

@@RathaSochenda What did you study if I may ask? I consider taking a course in welding or industrial product design. In what study can I learn to use CNC machines, autoCAD and welding at the same time?
@RathaSochenda
@RathaSochenda Жыл бұрын
My background is mechanical engineering. But honestly I learned most of what I know just from watching KZbin videos and actually trial and error. It really is a mindset thing. I found the way to learn all three stuff like cnc , design, fabrication is to have personal projects to work on. I’m not sure if that helps answer your question but I hope it points you in the right direction. Pretty much self-taught but it helps to have online mentors you look up to and can ask questions for help. It’s amazing how many people are willing to help if you ask.

@RathaSochenda
@RathaSochenda Жыл бұрын
I’ll show you in part 2 or 3 of the video series. But in short I’ll adjust the thread bolt and record that depth specific for the angle. I’ll have a chart that I will create that will show what depth I need for certain angles I have per thickness. Mainly for me is 45 deg and 90s. If it’s some odd angle I’ll use a digital angle finder and bump the pressbrake pedal until I reach it.

several years ago i made my press out of bridge banister-- 5in angle riveted together about12 in apart for the uprights and 12 in channel for the front and back of the table, and the top rails of the head,. I tried something different i made the hydraulic jack bracket (Head) so it slid along the top channels allowing me to press right next to the side(that had an opening between the angle iron legs) i was doing mostly farm parts straitening or pressing bearings out, the table was the only weak point as it is held by 2 3/4 in pins but they run through the front and back channels. never put enough pressure to bother them tho . like the repeatable of your design
