Hey everyone. Since people are still asking me for measurements and plans, I have decided to create plans for the Couch 2 years after building it 😅 You can buy them on my etsy store for a small price: www.etsy.com/listing/731222822

I would recommend a piece of sturdy fabric over the springs to protect your cushions but otherwise an amazing piece of furniture. Great job!
@ussul65247 жыл бұрын
I like that you have a friend to help you with fabrics. Nice job from both of you.

i love how its so rough that anyone with adequate wood working skills can do it but so beautiful that it can be displayed with pride good work bro

So cool! Thanks for not filling the video with useless chatter. Truly enjoyable to watch and the results are beautiful!

I've been building furniture professionally for 30 years, an electric bread knife works great for cutting foam. Spraying some silicone on the blades will help in cut a little better, good look.

Thank you so much I absolutely love it, I am in the process of making mine with one minor alteration. I’m piano hinging the back and repurposing denim jeans for pillow cases (tedious) but the butt pockets are great for holding phones and remotes. WAY CHEAPER AND HIGHER QUALITY THAN box store

After watching your video, I decided to make a couch instead of fixing mine or buying a new one. Thank you for inspiring me. Although I can weld and do woodworking I will have to get help from my wife to make the cushions and upholstery.

I was thinking the same thing. I may have missed it, but cleaning up the cut wire edges by filing / bending them over would probably be beneficial too.
