I plan to drill holes on about 1/4 or 1/3 to keep water in so the bait don’t stress as much and can swim while I’m picking them.

Great video. I made one with slight variations. First I remove the handle and place the rope through the holes because I’m lifting the bucket up from my 25ft pier. Then I only put holes 3/4 the way down the side and none on the bottom so it would hold water when taking it out of the ocean. Turned out awesome! Thanks

How many shrimp can survive for 2 days in this size bucket? I'm guessing 5 or 6 dozen?

Thanks for the tips. My model has no holes for the bottom 10cm (4 inches) so it retains a little water when I have it in the boat for a few minutes.

Like the video. Can you tell me what size drill bit you used? TY
@Aksmaniyak4 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I used a 1/4 inch bit but that is not really too important.

Awesome video sir and quality work. What did you use to ream the holes?
@Aksmaniyak4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I used an electric hand drill and 1/4 inch bit. It took a while to do it.

How long does the bait stay alive
@Aksmaniyak3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the bait. It works like other bait buckets.

Nice, I'm gonna do the same to my bucket but cutting a hole in a bodyboard as my float to create less drag pulling it behind my fishing tube!
@Aksmaniyak5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Chris. I just toss this off the dock or shore. You are right, too much drag to pull it behind.
