Que quilombo por Dios! Me está haciendo juego la cremallera. No pierde líquido hidráulico pero el mecanismo tiene juego. Ni loco me pongo a hacer eso... El problema es que en mi país (Argentina) una cremallera nueva es muy muy cara y sumado a eso no me quiero imaginar lo cara que va a ser la mano de obra.

@@rcgunsnroses Thank you very much for taking your time to watch! 💖 Yep, we had the same play in mechanism and would have failed the next annual inspection, Finland law is very strict. Same here, the quote for the repair was about 3500€ at professional workshop. My advice is: Ask for good quality Reman (remanufactured) parts, they are cheaper than new spare parts and you get some money back when you send the broken part back to the supplier 👍 Just remember, try to find a reputable MB dealer for the Reman parts if possible, so the risks are lower. Thank you very much for the informative video 👍. I'm afraid I'm going to have to do the same repair. Thanks to your video, it will probably be a bit easier for me. I have a question about your steering wheel alignment. Can I prevent this in advance by fixing the steering wheel? Or how did you manage it? Many thanks and best wishes to Finland 😀

@@kimgeldmacher Heya, glad to hear that you liked it! 💖 I believe that the best way to prevent our mistake is to mark the steering wheel location in the cabin, where the rotating stem connects to the panel trim. I would also try to take more pictures of the old steering rack before starting the work. I hope this helps at least a bit 🌻🚐 Good luck!
