There are misting sets for the garden which actually mist in very tiny drops. I think you would gain some more cooling and use less water with it.

Stick an isolation switch somewhere to turn the motor off for the rear wiper, presumably it will still 'wipe' even though the water is flowing to the intercooler only.

Get a grommet on the intercooler spray hose where it passes through the hole in the front member. It will chafe through otherwise. Won't be much use if it all pisses out before it gets to the spray jets on a hot track day!

Hi Steve l think you should have the jets going straight down. This way with your forward motion of the car it will go onto the intercooler. If doing it angled then it's only going on a certain part of intercooler & in forward motion further up the intercooler & not giving a full cooling. Why not add a third jet for in the middle so no parts missed. Just my opinion.
@Sparkplugsteve5 жыл бұрын
Thanks I did think I will add a 3rd jet.

what you could do as well is get an old diesel fuel cooler that goes under something like a citroen c3 and use that so the water runs through it. if you mount it somewhere at the front where fast moving air is going to hit it, it will make sure the water is nice and cold before it's sprayed onto the intercooler. if it comes straight from the bottle will the water not be warm?

Hi mate... If the valve is switched towards the intercooler only. Will The rear wiper will move as u activate the wiper switch from the cockpit?
@Naxan8183 жыл бұрын
Yes, it would still operate the rear wiper because you are still using the factory rear wiper motor and washer switch. Easy fix would be to remove the rear wiper motor fuse. FYI, some cars have separate rear motor and washer switches, so check to see how your system operates. Hope that helps!

@hunter100t5 жыл бұрын
@@Sparkplugsteve So I suppose your hoping the water will bleed through and wet the main radiator because the intercooler wont make any difference on its own to the temperature of the engine. perhaps the jets would have been better placed so they sprayed directly onto the main rad.
