Great videos Steve, excellent content and production. I appreciate that the wheels may have just been put on to move the car around, but the front nearside tyre's tread pattern appeared to be facing the wrong way. I thought the innermost portion of the directional tread should hit the road surface first, thereby pushing the water to the outside of the tyre as it rotates. If the outermost portion of the directional side tread hits first, it forces any water towards the centre of the tyre increasing the possibility of aquaplaning, OR, have I got mine wrong 🤔

Hi Steve, for your next project, how about finding a car, taking it to a track and setting a target time and then work on it to improve the time, with a budget of £1,000 including buying the car. I think this will improve your subscribers as many of us would like to do what you do, but do not have the budget, due to bills, mortgage, kids etc

hi thats a nice idea and id love to do it but this car is a keeper and cant afford another track car.

Hi Steve the £1,000 car would simply be a project I am sure you know someone who will store the ST while you complete the mods and afterwards, I am sure you could sell the car on to one of your subscribers, as we can all see the quality of your work, I think the only risk of you not getting your money back is if you crash or blow up the project.

If you were wondering why the audio is sometimes so poor, try holding the camera with your RIGHT hand. I suspect that the mic is on the left-hand side of the camera, and that every time you hold the camera with your left hand, your sleeve rubs up against the mic... TIA Otherwise, interesting output...
@Sparkplugsteve5 жыл бұрын
Hi its because its a hero 5 and the sounds is just terrible with them. It's not my sleeve causing the noise it's just picking up rubbing sounds from the handle with my fingers moving. Iv now converted to external Mic to cure the problem.

When you fit upgrades such as the cat, and the hot side pipes that have a bigger diameter than standard but then reduce them back down to fit standard exhaust etc do you then lose any gains you've made with the larger upgrades? Always been curious about any real gains power wise when fitting mods between standard parts. Just found your videos today, they're a great watch.
@Sparkplugsteve5 жыл бұрын
The exhaust needs to be changed really and it will as soon as funds allow. It will be a power restriction I'd guess. As for the hotside piping the smallest part of the pipework is the turbo outlet. I'm not 100% on all the info on it but iv been told by a few tuning companies to change the hot side for more power. Thanks for watching.
