Next time when you make your pattern, leave an extra 1 inch / 3cms right the way around the edge (its called your seam allowance) it should give you a little more room to move and be closer to the clothes you used to make the pattern ^.^ This was amazing considering you havent made clothes much! ^.^

Depends on the color of the entire cosplay, in my case I made the entire sky blue color Johnny so for the stars I use the pink bougainvillea (it's like normal pink but a little more strong tone of color), but if you're making the one on the video blue is the color (Sorry for the bad grammar, English isn't my native languaje. Hope this helps :D)

You could probably fix the stars on the pants by painting more layers or (if you have some left over white fabric) you could sew the stars on the pants, although it would probably take a while to do lol
