Feel free wouldnt it had been easier to mark all the holes and drill them out before you screw the flange on?

A lot of the time if you do it that way the holes will be off when you go to screw them in. I like to put 2 in just to make sure everything's going to lineup you only get one shot at it. Thanks for commenting you are the 1st to enter the giveaway.

Bassangler. What product was used for the hatch unit install. Great mod for additional storage. What common items, would you store in them, without loosing them within the kayak or is there something you now place in there to hold items. Please let me know.

Since I have the 13.5 I have plenty of storage. The hatch in the back is so I can access the nuts and washers I used on the motor mount. Although there is a windbreaker material bag you can put down in the hatch so you dont lose your things. I just looked up 4" White Hatch on amazon and it popped up. I think it was like $7. Thanks Martin. More mods on the way, a few I think youll like.

It's the one that came with the 30 lb trolling motor. I just modified it to fit.
