I missed pointing out a grease fitting that is on the brake pedal. Right side, under the floorboard. 20 total fittings 👍

Just a hint I learned long ago if you turn that 5 gallon bucket half around and have the spout at the top it doesn’t do that glug glug when you pour it out and you don’t have to have a vent hole. Overall great video thank you I’m gonna try that vacuum trick.

Your hydraulic fiter sure came off a lot easier than mine did. I was really surprised how easy it would tip without having ballast while using the loader. I've got 100 hrs on mine. So far so good. 👍
@BaznastyDave4 ай бұрын
Fill your rear tires up with ballast, it defiantly helps and i have a video on it. Mine isn't as bad as a sub-compact tractor, but it still needs at least a scrape blade on the rear to keep it on the ground with a heaped bucket of dirt. The piranha tooth bar i have on it made the bucket a few inches deeper so it holds more dirt than stock.

Great video. I have the cab version of this tractor and while it did okay doing loader work, after watching your videos on wheel spacers i added 2" to the rear and 1.5" to the front. In the process I discovered that my dealer didn't put ballast in the rear tires like they said they would. They did a LOT of other stuff for me some of it for free. So i can't complain. I filled the rear tires with water and dang dude it rides sooo much better now and much more stable than before. Also the tires were inflated to 40psi. Theyre at 15-20psi now. Huge improvement! Cant wait to see your hp increase mod. Im hesitant to do the same until the warranty expires

I've been debating on doing the shim removal and the fuel or just the fuel. Decided to just do just the fuel since that's what most people will likely do. High gear is the only bad thing on the tractor power wise, another 5hp or so should fix that. I'll be testing exhaust temps before/after as well.

I'm not trying to be one of those youtube nannys... just wondering if there was a safety latch in place while your bucket was up while doing your tra tor work? I've seen a skid steer hydraulics fail and kill a dude who was working on it. Thanks for your vids! New subscriber !!

Cool video, I have the same tractor with 214hrs just did engine oil change on it a few days ago. On the fuel filter mines was dirty so I cleaned the bowl it added new filter snugged but then backed off a hair and opened the valve to fill the bowl worked great. Also just turn bucket of oil with spout at top when pouring works great. My 1.5gal engine oil was out of a 5 gal bucket of Rotella t 15 w40. Waiting on the video of you turning that Kioti up! Nice Bullet, we have a couple Allison’s also. Thanks for sharing!

I am pretty sure what you said about the engine at the opening of the video applies to boncat as well in their 2 series tractors.

Great vid. Very helpful! Question: front axle has hydraulic fluid from factory....any issues topping up with 90 gear oil? My tractor has just over 10hours.
@BaznastyDaveАй бұрын
You can top up with 90 gear oil as needed. Then at service swap it all to 90 gear oil.
@petep72274 ай бұрын
Great video. Not many service videos on YT for this machine and this is definitely the best I’ve found. Did you notice a difference with the 424?
@BaznastyDave4 ай бұрын
I actually did, the hydro pump is a little quieter and high gear has a tad more grunt. I assume it's due to the full synthetic engine oil and the better Mobil 424 oil. Not much, but i do notice it.

Good video, I'm shopping for a new tractor, either the Kioti CX2510 or the Deere 1025r.... I'm curious to know your thoughts?
@BaznastyDave26 күн бұрын
I feel like with John Deere and Kubota your paying extra for the name. I have 2 Kioti dealers near me, that played a factor in my decision as well.
@michaeldoherty228916 күн бұрын
I had a 1025R for 4 years. Bought it new. Began to have a lot of issues with it, including bad glow plugs and leaking front axle seals. Sold it and bought the CX2510. The Kioti is a far better machine in all respects. Deere 1025 is way overpriced. Far less capability than the CX2510 too. No comparison. Too many reasons to state here, but I will never buy green again. I have had several Kubota's too, but I think the Kioti has exceeded their quality and durability as well.

There is a lot to like and a lot to hate about this video. Good tutorial but the execution is often really bad. If you watch it to learn the general layout of the machine, you'll be fine. Don't try to emulate his techniques. Mostly atrocious.
