Just fyi, the best way to deal with vents, ect is to soak in the bathtub in very hot water and dawn soap, gently scrub.. let dry about 24 hours. Then spray paint.. I have done this many times.. the spray paint always gets in all the grooves

We just moved into a new built, but we had to take the kitchen they had already picked out and I'm not a huge fan, I know I could never convince my husband to epoxy brand new granite counters, but maybe if I show him yours I can get him to budge?!?

My partner is handy for a living...just not at home. I guarantee if we worked together 1 of us would have ended up encased in epoxy for good!!! It looks fab. I painted my floor once,still good when i moved out several years later. Its gives you breathing space to gather funds if you want to update it further. For people moaning saying painting wont stand up. All painting needs touching up over the years,even on walls,its not a huge problem. I love what was achieved here.

I didn’t watch the painting of the floor part yet but typically if you paint a floor you should be covering it with a clear sealer.

The floor looks like linoleum now and painted instead of ceramic tile. Would not have painted the floor or cover up those granite stone countertops either.

Found this video and I'm so glad I did. We have to update our kitchen before we sale our house and I was just stumped. Thank you for the inspiration, very creative and beautiful. I hated seeing those granite countertops get painted, I’m one that actually likes earth tone with pure white. However, painting the floor? THAT was an amazing improvement! I’m rubbing my chin in thought thinking if I too shall paint an appliance, stainless...🤔 Not sure about that one yet. Your kitchen looked stunning! 👍🏼

I’m so agreeing with you all, don’t paint granite stone countertops, personally cheapens them out in my opinion. My hubby didn’t not like the technique or colors they used, but hey, its not our home! Don’t care for the floors either, they will be ruined within a year. I’ve seen it happen many times before. I would have spent the money and put in new tile ourselves, do the work yourself. Use dark grey grout. White grout, beige also gets dirty really fast.the walls trim and the hardware on cabinets look wonderful! I’m glad we had our cabinets painted too, but 3 years later and some need touching up, we will do it ourselves as we want to change the color. The very pale grey is not what we wanted, was supposed to be a tan grey, like Smokey pale grey.

I would have selected black kitchen shades and/or eventually black plantation shutters. It would make it pop! Additionally, If I may suggest; adding black fluer dilee/Italian floor tiles. It would be so rich looking. I really love the makeover. Hello to your family. The transformation is so beautiful, bright and clean looking. I love it. My favorite is those counter tops and appliances they look perfect. The painted cabinets with the new hardware are so so nice. I like every thing. Those cute little boys trying to help made me laugh. Looks great!!! For an added pop and to take the cabinets up a bit, I would change the hinges out and replace with black ones. Remodeling is a booger!! I just did my dining room...popcorn ceiling removal and all. I, too, installed a Kichler light fixture. Excellent quality!!! BTW, you have now convinced me to paint my bathroom tiled floor!!!

I definitely think the floor tile could do for a nice stencil pattern in every other tile that would look nice and I personally would paint the grout with a small brush a but much but worth the look I think it would a be a nice modern spin on Spanish tile work

I painted the oak cabinets in my kitchen about six years ago. They are still.perfect. Obviously there is a very small amount of wear and tear but you would expect that in any kitchen and mine is used all day, every day. Teenagers and grandchildren are not the most careful of kitchen users. In saying all that, you would have to look very very closely to see the wear and tear. The painted units are so easy to keep clean as well.

Just steam your floors or use a mild soap and very hot water to clean floors. We really don't need extra or harsh chemicals. Hot hot water actually disinfect and clean..
