This week still with a bad back but I'm up and around I could not net any fish so I did a swap of the Easy pod disks over to the cover cap's as the pod's are not working so hard now I'm giving them a go. I have made extra and have them for sale and now the Disks as well on my facebook page if you want a set of caps or a disk contact me there

Great stuff as always. Going to order some flaps as I have set up a separate air pump on my EazyPod and now all the media comes out! So much needed. Sorry about the Orfe Martyn, really sad but you have given him an amazing life!

Easy fix, reduce the water in the pod by a couple of inches and save some money

@@bigdogroff hi, thank you for commenting. I need to have the water coming out slightly in the gutters at the top. If you reduce the level of the water, the media is crushed at the bottom and it reduces the space the media has to boil. A lot of video with camera in the pod have been done. I run mine like this. If you clean it properly with a good air pump, then the media comes out. The flaps are my solution 😃 but thank you for commenting, it is much appreciated

Been making the disks for a long long time and never sold one before but i have been asked so many times for them i should have. Her indoors has now cut her hours to sell stuff from home for her side line so letting her sell them and the new pod covers as well to help her get going.

That screw was driving me nuts! Shouted at the screen but you didn’t hear me🤣 like the way you turned the zip ties round to make them all the same….it’s all about attention to detail. Caps look better than anything else I’ve seen and a bargain price, I think you’ll be making more👍 Sorry to hear about your orfe, they really do become proper pets so to loose one after so many years is not nice . Well I finally got all the covers and foam board off the tilapia pond and heaters off. The waterfall while nice has a pump that is a bit overkill although now has pumped all the stuff off the skimmer and kind of clogged it up at the box. Anyway I am going to do a smaller filter with a smaller pump. Also put in two 550 gallon white plastic tanks in the garage and the fish seem to love them, round shape and translucent. Coming up for food aggressively. Cheers I like your filter.

I can only imagine how much they eat mine put it away and are a 3rd of the size of yours. Such a shame about the orfe especially being with you so long 😔.the discs and flaps ate a bargain and a brilliant upgrade 👌👍

So sorry about the loss of your orfe. Would be pretty upsetting. You've given him/her many great years (pretty outstanding at that). Always love your intro showing your colourful koi. The koi with freckles always fascinates me. Cat has to do what a cat has to do to travel along the fence (so graceful😂).

freckles is a long time carp pox sufferer so not a show boat up close but is now knocking 17 years old so never going to grow out of it. Cat lover hear as well i have two of them the fence walker is next doors cat

Every year I get 4 fish that get carp pox on the side by the tail this year i have non and put this down to some salt in the pond over winter and acriflavine in the pond normal dose in december with a 30ml top up every month.

Hi mate, can I ask what flow rate you’ve got going through those pods, looks like they’re going like a train compared to mine, wondering if mine are a bit low?

They are running at 8000L Paul that is supposed to be the max for the pod's. but I have the upflow in front of them so they don't have to work hard each pond will have its own best speed to run at on a pod for it to catch the most so its a play around till you find what works best for you and your pond.

Hi Richard lot's out there but the BRESSER Biolux NV 20x-1280x Microscope with a HD USB Camera with it is what i use and would recommend they can be had 2nd hand from £40 to new at about £130

A walk on the wild side of death that was me tonight painting the decking on the pond and suddenly a strange noise could not place it then a big bang and black smoke passing in front of me all the garden lights went off and everything in the pond stopped I could now smell burning lifting the wooden cover on my filters bay and electrics I could see the power supply to the UVC had melted and gone up with a bang although the RCD had tripped the power supply was still smouldering and was so hot taking over 90 minutes to cool enough to touch.

Sorry but I just don’t get this I see no purpose for them whatsoever, if ur worried about losing K1 u only need to slightly reduce the water in pod so none escapes. Pointless IMO.

The stuff still get's out and you need the water over the spill ways for it to clean properly if it was as easy fix as keeping the water level lower you are right you would not need them i have only just started selling them as I have been asked countless times to make them so hear they are
