We have LOVED watching your videos. We don’t have a lake house but do live in a farmhouse on acreage in the Big Thicket of Texas… we custom built our house in 2016 with MANY projects still left to do. After watching your video on cable railing installation, we are ready to tackle it. We have a gorgeous view and didn’t want it impeded by railing. Our wraparound porch is over 2,000 square feet in itself, so we don’t have a small house, but we sure enjoy the porch. We also have an area off the detached garage we are wanting to make into a screened-in area for outdoor meals, etc., so we are watching all your videos for lots of ideas. I also tiled one of our bathroom showers myself so I cracked up when seeing that your wife did y’all’s… I almost added a built-in bench, but decided to go with a teakwood removable seat so the kids in our family wouldn’t use the benches as launching apparatus. Lol. We have had a crazy time over the last few years doing projects out here. You and your wife are detail-oriented, inspiring, and enthusiastic. Love the Amazon inserts for purchases as helps us see exactly what you’re using and the cost so we can compare with other stores. Love the tool details and demos since I’m the one making the list of necessary supplies to discuss with my husband as we prepare for projects. Keep doing your videos. Breaking down each project is interesting for us DIY’ers! Thanks for sharing the renovating of y’all’s well thought out and gorgeous home!
