Love the idea of making my laundry powder into pods. I make all my own organic cleaners and powders, laundry liquids , bath and toilet bombs etc. I never thought to make pods with my laundry powder. Would be easier and already measured out as well. As I live i New Zealand I don't get any of the brands of products used in the states so I make my own castile soap for my laundry powder which i find is great. Thank you for sharing your video, loved it.

How many do you use per load, just one or two? More? *question answered below* I love the pod idea. A few years ago I was obsessed with watching all the homemade laundry vids, but it usually yielded enough for like three years. I like this small amount and the pod formation. I would likely use zote over dial, though.

@@couponmom05 I read an article about soap leaving residue on your laundry and not cleaning them well because it doesn't contain the surfactants that commercial detergents have, which are what cleans the clothes. So it makes sense when you say store-bought cleans better.

Unfortunately you added chemicals in your pods with the soap & oxiclean. Same kind of chemicals in store bought laundry cleaners. Consider Castile soap and a oxygen cleanser that has no chemicals like 365 from Whole Foods. There are others. Vinegar neutralizes baking soda so you need to use one or the other but not together
