I would recommend using a controller board that is specific to that lcd panel as not all controllers are compatible with certain panels.

So you cant directly connect the lcd panel to hdmi, you would need a controller board to do so. The lcd panel has its own special lvds connector that you would connect to the controller where you can connect your hdmi/vga.

@@incacube You wouldn't be able to get enough power from the USB port. Depending on the backlight power requirement you need around 20 watts. Which would be 4 amps at 5V. In the spec for these boards it says you need a 12V 4A supply, although mine only pulls about 1.7A

Hello i am trying to make my DIY monitor in my case i made it to be recognized from windows but the panel stack at white screen for ever Also you have to know that i tried the board with 2 similar panels and always doing the same both of panel was working on a damaged laptop but working i am using a working 12v 4a power supply with the positive in the center the board came with all wires apart so i connect them (i am 99% sure that i connect them on the rigth way this is the board ) every help and advise it will be appreciated

That's a great question, I've never really tried it. My board has one hdmi and a vga, idk whether connecting each to seperate monitors would work but it's worth a try. Goodluck!

The display ribbon may be damaged, or in most cases it could just be loose. Remove the ribbon from both the screen and also the display board. Check the entire ribbon for any type of rips or tears, then re-attach both ends to their proper spots (just keep a closer eye on lining it up) Once powered on if the display still has white lines, you may want to consider replacing the ribbon

Really good question! I havent tried using a touchscreen yet but it really comes down to the lcd panel and its compatible controller board, since every panel has its own specific board its hard to say which boards have that feature. If you've tried it, let me know how it goes!

That's Hella easy to do I wouldn't of even had to order the parts That's kinda like cheating all you do is plug the screen into the part you ordered everything is already pretty much connected already try getting parts off of different things & building one that's how I've always done it a Lil. Harder but a lot more fun interesting & somewhat harder, You just pluging the screen in & turning the power on off of peaces well technically it's one peace cause it came all connected already except the screen you actually probably ordered to & you just plug that in to peaces you ordered & plug it in & presto
