my shift boot is not holding in place the edge falls down below the trim edge and its not secured :( have you had this problem? it has some double sided tape that no longer sticks holding it to the plastic trim plate maybe its missing a part? perhaps a frame that snaps on from below? gonna take it apart later to check

+supboy666 I had this probem, all the clips had been broken in the past. Super glue is your friend, carefully apply all the way round and stick it position.

mine recently broke too, shift boots are cheap either I just paid 40 bucks for mine

Same here. There are plastic clips that hold the shifter boot. Those clips seem to crack over time. Anyone have a link to a replacement part ?

I had the same problem and I used binder clips on the underside to clip the frame to the edge of the leather shift boot. The metal handles didn’t interfere with anything either. Worked like a charm!
