See? I told you that I am going to try and go back to watch previous videos. 😁 I'm so glad that I am. This project is fun and functional. How awesome is that? I would have never thought to use Ikea stuff to make this. Wow your imagination is incredible. I love nutcrackers. I used to have quite the collection. Sadly someone felt the need to destroy them. I only managed to save a few that I have to do a lot to repairs on them to salvage them but I did save them. I am slowly replacing them now that the person who ruined my original collection is no longer here to do it again. I have made it a new tradition to buy a new nutcracker every year and repair one of the old ones I still have left using parts of destroyed ones.

If there’s one guarantee on this channel it is that something will be completely fascinating to watch. The level of detail you add is what makes you a true artist, not just a creator. Today I watched good old fashioned needle felting for the first time in years. That hair is incredible! Bulking it up with the cardboard is genius. I would have been using whatever cheap yarn I have in the stash and just kind of swirl it around. (Who am I kidding? I’m never going to have the patience to make something like this!) I can’t wait to see what other magical things your mind creates. It’s awesome to see.

It's very hard to answer that, because I took a really long break from working on it. But I think it took a few weeks, maybe about a month total 🤔 But it takes longer when you're trying to figure out how to make it at the same time. If I would make it again it would probably take about half the time 😊
