Very cool! Could you show us the plumbing and design?

Thanks! We will work on a video explaining the design of the injector and engine assembly soon. Currently we are busy preparing the next test campaign for the updated engine.

@@oneaerospace8022 How big is your engineering crew? I’m in college for Astronautical Engineering and I’m studying all my options for a career, and I love the idea behind your company! Where are you based and how would one go about applying for a position in propulsion engineering?

Yes, mixing and combustion looks quite stable. During test #4, however, the flame front was just to far away from the injector face and oscillating a lot.

Awesome Job! What kind of injector are u using? I guess a pintle injector? Are you manufacturing them yourself, or are you buying them= Keep on! Schöne grüse ;)
@oneaerospace80223 жыл бұрын
Thank you! We actually use a coaxial swirl injector as it gives a realy nice spray pattern and mixing of the propellants. Yes, we manufacture them ourselves. This way we can test and optimize the design easily. Schöne Grüße zurück! ;)

Wow its amazing, how much thrust does it have?
@oneaerospace80223 жыл бұрын
Thank you. What you see here is just the fuel injector for our rocket engine. We run these kind of tests to get information on combustion characteristics that would normally be hide by the combustion chamber. you can check out kzbin.info/www/bejne/eH-bmGeaYqt3ea8 to see the fully assembled rocket engine with 15 N of thrust in action!

What is your final objective for this project
@myyth1463 жыл бұрын
We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard
@oneaerospace80223 жыл бұрын
For this first project the objective is to install our engine into a parallel built rocket. We want to launch it to a height where it can safely return to the ground using a parachute. Depending on the outcome we would then like to increase thrust and size of the rocket stepwise to reach higher altitudes and to take small experiments or payloads.
