Please start uploading. Your designs are amazing and spectacular. I’ll be using some of these in my 2nd macrame project. I planning to make a mish mash of vertical designs. Lots of love. Hope you start uploading soon ♥️

Thank you for this wonderful pattern which I will use to make a ukulele strap. Do you have any suggestions as to how I could taper each end to attach to the use base and to the top of the fret board? Thanks again. I am looking forward to practice sing.

I’ve been thinking about your question for a bit and I’m not sure how to answer. Does your uke have attachments for the strap?
@trevorhazell81404 жыл бұрын
@@KnotSeriousStudio thanks for getting back and for trying to solve my problem. At the bottom of the uke I have a metal "button" . Commercially-made uke straps usually have a leather piece at that end which has a slit cut to go over the knob. (Does this make sense?) . At the other end of the uke, (known as the "head" - where there are keys to tighten or loosen the string) there is usually another leather piece with cords attached which then are tied around the neck. I can figure out how to attach a leather piece at the beginning of your pattern but i'm not sure how to end it off when I've reached the desired length of the strap. Theoretically, if I could gradually reduce the number of ropes at the neck end then I could use those ropes to tie to the neck. I hope this all makes sense. Once again thanks for taking the time. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Regards Trevor

How would you finish this off to attach as a strap?
@KnotSeriousStudio4 жыл бұрын
Most easily, probably a gathering knot. You can find lots of tutorials on how to do that knot on KZbin (but I don't have one myself).

Hi... I have a question. When a person is designing a piece with half of it knots and half fringe, should you always triple the length of the overall design?
@KnotSeriousStudio4 жыл бұрын
Impossible to say exactly. Some knots take up more string. In general, 3 times is usually safe but some patterns are just way denser (up to 5 times). And sometimes, just one or two cords will run out. Best rule of thumb is to know when and how to add cord.

Love the pattern but very disappointed that it doesn't have the ends.
