Just found your channel. Started doing macrame in high school and won awards for my work. This knowledge followed me through my search and rescue days, making all knot work easy for me. Now as a senior under COVID-19 lockdown, I'm motivated by your work to dive back in. This project is the bomb and I plan to acquire the supplies and get started asap. I will show you the results on Instagram when done. My inner hippie lives this stuff. Great work and this project is so easy!

love love love love!! so simple yet elegant. i'm definitely going to make this. there are so many complex beautiful ones but many times those are the ones that turn me off, not because they look difficult but mostly because there's just too much happening visually. in this situation (to me) less is more 🙂 this piece is just amazing, not too busy, not too simple and the perfect amount of gorgeous. it will fit in very nicely with the interior style that i'm trying to create in my home! i especially love the "twists" in between square nots, it all just flows so well. thank you so much for making your videos so easy to understand, you're a great teacher! 🙂

So pretty! Thank you for sharing step by step. I was wondering if this technique could be used at the end of a covered porch to fill in an 8ft by 10ft space? It would be awesome hanging with it's little window-like opening made into it. Love your videos and your work. You are so talented.

I hope u see this message but I'm having trouble doing the breaded knots at the very top and braiding the rows together. If u could direct me even to another video where they go slower on how to do or even the name or the braid/knots that I can learn that way. I've been trying to find a good video on how to do and iij finally did but I just cant seem to get how ti do the knots. Thanks so much for the great video

Lots of Knots Canada thanks so much! I like your idea of adding the spirals to each side. So would you just spiral all the way down to the shelf? When you say attach to both sides of the wood would you just tie it? Hope that makes sense.:)
