Hey again! I had another question - I think I’m squared away with figuring out how much length of cord I need, but am confused about to know how many pieces of cord I will need. Is there a rule of thumb to follow? I have tried to find an answer but everything I’ve found is only mentioning the length of cord. Thanks for your help!

Hello, I'm new to macrame and I wanted to know is it possible to increase or decrease the size of this. Can I just do any even number of pairs on both sides such as 30 ropes instead of 20, or does it have to be a specific multiple?

This was so easy to follow, thank you. I was just wondering if there was anything I was anything I could do personally to make it more of a square shape? Do you think adding a tassel on either end would work?
@soulfulnotions26484 жыл бұрын
Think , if I understand correctly, you could maybe do less knots on top and cute the cords shorter to make a square instead of a rectangle shape?

Hi, I love your channel - it is so helpful! I was just going to make this using 3mm cord. The 8 lark knots do not go all the way to the top to meet the first square knot, could I still do this if I added 4 more on each side, 12 total? (I hope this makes sense.)
@soulfulnotions26483 жыл бұрын
I know exactly what you mean, and yes, seem like you have it figured out, as long as it is by 2’s on each side (so you can still make those berry knots) it will be great!

Good day. I have just been out and saw a roll of cotton piping corde whixch I bought for the wife as a spur of the moment thing. Will this work for macrame or shall I return it?
@soulfulnotions26484 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure exactly what piping cord is or what size type it so I don’t want to give you the wrong advice! If it looks like the one in the video it should be fine!

I’m excited to try this! Will this work with 4.5mm cord? If so, how long should they be?
@soulfulnotions26484 жыл бұрын
I think so, it will be a lot chunkier though and though may need a wider dowel, maybe cut an extra foot or so on each cord!:)
@egbirks4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I might just stick with the 3.5mm. I’m new to macrame and love it and have found your videos super helpful! What brand cord do you use?
