Hello Happy Bird :-))))), I am a fan of you and I live in Holland. In my city is a shop with the name Sow Low. This summer I was there and bought a package of 10 different of this metal filigree figures for less than 1 euro and I have experimented with nail polish and also that works perfect -I did 2 layers and as varnish I used white strong nail topcoat too so maybe an idea for people who do not have normal paint. Happy crafting....♥♥♥

Absolutely beautiful ! I get a lot of filigrees from old jewelry I take apart ! This idea is especially good for that because many times they are worn looking from being used a long time and the silver or gold finish is rubbed off. This would be a perfect way to use them ! I have them in all sizes from little to pretty big ! I will have to invest in some of that paint because I do like that Metallic look the Martha Stewart pearl finish paint gives them !! Thanks for the warning about the crinkly noises thanks for caring enough. I hope it didn't make you mad me bringing it up. These are beautiful my husband even liked them we decided they would make pretty earrings or pins or necklaces and of course ornaments. My husband is going to restrict my KZbin time because I told him all the things you make I want to make for myself!! Looks like next year I'll add another Christmas tree to our collection. (Regular tree, peppermint tree, beach theme, woodsy or nature tree, purple (what can I say it's my favorite color) fairy tree, now I'll add a shabby chic tree. Bad internet every needs to stop doing crafts for a couple years let me catch up.
