That was actually a thing going around Canada, money laundering. Once COVID started not many Canadians were worried about using money to pay for things since you could quite literally wash away the Virus in a few minutes at home with no problem. So when my mom asked the guy who we rented our trailer park from if she can still pay in cash he said ‘Yeah I accept cash, my wife is wasting some upstairs now anyway. We’ll add it in’. My Dad and I would always make "maple snow" whenever it snowed which was basically just lightly microwaving some maple syrup (so it gets a bit more liquid-y than syrup-y but not hot) and pouring it over a cup of fresh snow!!! We ate it with spoons and it was so good - especially the maple "soup" at the bottom.

If you don't have snow where you live you can just put ice in a blender and blend it up and then pour the maple syrup on it and it will work. I figured out how to do this because I live in California and it was the middle of summer and I wanted maple taffy. It works I'm telling you.
