Thank you very much for posting this video as it's exactly what I need for my tent, too. Good luck with your shows.

Those are very classy and a major upgrade to our milk jug weights. The milk jugs have an eye-bolt in them, and the handle is really comfortable to move them around, so I'm not sure I'm going to upgrade. Maybe I'll paint them black, though...or black with diagonal yellow stripes.

These are great, but I guarantee that when you pushed the i-bolt down into the concrete, that washer stayed at the top. To get it to go down into the concrete--for better hold--place a nut on the bottom AND the top of the washer. The top nut will ensure the washer goes down, also.

At 4:12 in the video it shows him assembling the washer with a nut on both sides.

What types of pipe though? PVC is crazy expensive!

If you were to not wait a week, let's say a day or two, would it still be safe to use for markets?

As long as the PVC end caps were glued well, it's likely to be OK. The concrete will still be curing, but it won't pull apart at 20 pounds. If you're really worried, bend the eye bolts at the bottom of the threading into an L shape for an inch or so, and that will give additional strength to absolutely stop the eye bolt pulling out or endcap giving way.

Can you list your parts and where you purchased them. I’m not seeing how you did this for under $20.
@janeyangus8642 Жыл бұрын
So it comes out to about a pound per inch?

ruh roh...now that's my husband's department.

Looks to be, one could always weigh the water and concrete mix that go in to be sure if you're using a different size pipe.

there is no way that is under $20 10' 4" pvc pipe - $19 (maybe but probably more) 4" end caps - $7 x 4 = $28 50lb quikrete - $6.40 not to mention chain, eye bolts, nuts and washers Nice anchors maybe, but not under $20

@@nothanks666 I think they meant less than 20 bucks for EACH weight! (I also misunderstood in the beginning.)

Why don't you hang them directly from the frame on each corner? The advantage is less of a tripping hazard on the ground. Another you tuber cut the eyelets to make a hook and hangs them. Just an idea.
@victoriachatfield46128 ай бұрын
The frames of the canopies I've looked at would not support that weight.
