So, you can make it where the hat comes off and you fill the jar with goodies or craft supplies or something? I've been looking for something like that.

You may be able to use a process like I did this candy corn gnome: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eorRoGqDa7pnqtEsi=bpfG8c53dweu0-du I made sure to glue everything to the lid of the jar so that I could remove the lid.

what are the measurements for the hat? thank you

As each jar would be a different size, it's hard to say. Just wrap your fabric half way around the neck of the jar for the triangle shape. Then cut out two of those sizes.
