I heard that Beyond Paint was better than chalk. People say chalk paint is not good on furniture but it may be a user issue.

Allison, I stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago and am loving your content. I enjoyed seeing you paint in such a small space because that is how I work. It is too much effort to move anything I am doing into a bigger space so I usually squish in the small space to get it done. We just moved into a tiny house. This inspired me to maybe chalk paint my bedroom furniture since the finish is chipping off-it is wood, I am not sure if it is veneer chipping or what. I know it will need sanding but that is ok. How long did you leave it to dry between coats? And thank you and your husband for your service to our country.

I let the coats dry for about 1 hour and then I waited overnight to apply the wax! Good luck with your project! I know you're going to crush it :)

Wood trimming makes such a difference on walls, doors and on drawers, etc. there is no end to the possibilities, it upscales everything.

Who needs a man?! 😂 Beautiful transformation! I am about to redecorate my bedroom and my husband is very busy too, so I can see it turning into a one woman project. You did a beautiful job! I really want to start mine soon, but I’m having the hardest time choosing bedding, of all things!! This will be the first time I’m really investing in quality linen sheets and a linen duvet…. I love the layered, fluffy, textured linen look, but am so indecisive! You definitely get a 👍🏻 and a sub! Beautiful job!

Absolutely love what you did to your wall that molding technique is so smart and cool!! I would love to try it in my living room! I love your bedroom I also have did a makeover and my bedroom and made it an all white bedroom it's so peaceful!! I absolutely love what you did by painting the dressers and nightstands White it would have been a really nice touch if you got some hardware for your drawer with a black mat finish like you have on your mirror , your lamps , and picture frames. I just think it would make your dressers and nightstands pop ,but overall absolutely beautiful with or without the drawer pulls!!!

Hi! I just found your channel today and I love it. First time viewer/subscriber so hopefully you would be willing to answer my question. 😂❤ When you did the tape and trim on your bedroom wall behind your bed, I’m just curious why you chose not to do caulking around the wood trim. I am looking to do the same project, but would prefer a solution that is semi permanent. Basically meaning that it doesn’t rip the wall off when I take it off one day, but that looks flush and nice on the wall. Any special advice for this case? Thank you!

Well done I like to see people pulling furniture out use some lavender oil to spray on pillows and floor bed bugs and dust mites hate um 😶 I don’t have side units now and I buy metal bed frames so bugs don’t get attached to fabric I can also Hoover underneath quickly I have side table attached to wall again so I can clean quickly

My bedroom has evolved over the years. We bought a new bed frame a few years ago and I’ve decided to swap it with my mums spare bed frame. We’ve gone with neutral floral vintage style and have the room light bright and airy. We are swapping our room with my daughter who’s room is white and has views onto our new deck and garden. She will move into our bright pink south facing room that’s darker cooler and quieter. I’ve picked a white dresser and dressing table from ikea. Can’t wait to start the project.

It's lovely and such clean lines. I would suggest a small pop of color by adding one of the colors from your artwork on a throw at the end of your bed - if you have a cream or white throw, just sew in colorful yarn the length of your throw - just a small bit of color would enhance what you have created.
