I hope that you give your husband and sanctuary. Your bedroom is so feminine that I bet it's not comfortable for him especially with the comment about the pillows. He may put up with that kind of treatment for a while but your marriage won't last if you don't compromise a little.

You’re the one giving marital advice based on a few pillows. My husband and I joke around all the time, he compliments me on our house everyday. You don’t know anything about the kind of relationship we have. And trust me, I compromise and have sacrificed A LOT for our marriage so I don’t want to hear it.

@@whitneypea If you don't want negative comments don't say negative things about your marriage. You did not make it sound like teasing. You sounded very self centered. We can only know as much as you share about yourself and you shared something very negative sounding. I wasn't commenting based on the pillows, it was your dismissive attitude toward your husbands concerns and about the fact that your shared room looked like a single women's space on top of it. As for me I've been married for almost 30 years so I know a few things about making a marriage work.

Melissa Jones I don’t see how what I said was negative, I simply said he didn’t like how many pillows we have, just like I don’t like having guns in the house but like you said, I don’t compromise at all right 😉 if you’ve been married that long, then you should know that you aren’t always going to like everything your spouse does, that’s just part of being human. You still shouldn’t judge someone and their marriage when you don’t know ANYTHING about that person. I don’t care about negative comments, but I do care when someone makes assumptions about my character and my marriage based on the simple fact that, I put too many pillows on my bed and my husband doesn’t like it. Must be nice to sit behind a computer screen and insult people. I hope it made you feel better
