I do love the simplicity of this room. Sweet, simple and clean. Do add a tiny table next to that charcoal chair! I have a very similar black and white striped bedspread with shams on my black metal bed in my primary bedroom. My decor there is vintage too!

Beautiful, Amy! I love how the gray in your bedding coordinated with your chair without you even planning it. The Lord has put things together like that in my own decor and I just love it! Beautiful Amy. What a transformation. I would definitely put curtains to the other windows thou. It makes it look unfinished. Also I would move the pitcher of flowers by your bed to the right. I feel it will be in the way when making the bed or getting in and out. This bedroom should be in a picture in a cottage magazine. Love your style even thou I’m very traditional. I bought curtains for the other windows and ended up returning them. If I do curtains on the window next to the dresser, it would have to be closed all of the time and would just look “off” because it is right up against the wall, or else I would.

I’m doing this moulding too atm. I figured out where the top rail was going and painted the entire bottom white with a large roller first. Then put your boards, caulk, fill nail holes. Paint boards with mini roller, much easier. You’ve made a lot of extra work doing all that taping. Just use an angled brush on the the board edges.
