sorry about taking so long to respond. I used grey pvc. basically go to menards and test a 12 ga shell in it until you find one that is tight. just cut it to lenght and use a belt sander to sand the shape. if it is too loose you can heat it up and pinch it a little.

It’s not exactly high dollar and it took forever to get it to run reliably…. Once I did it was awesome. Until then it was horrible.

doign this tonight. seems like an old video so maybe you have changed technique, but you do not have to hit bolt release if you press shell down onto lifter. very cool tho thanks

better late than never I guess. sorry about that. I don't know the answer to your specific question but I can say that hitting the bolt release would be faster.
