I'm glad that you decided to show this & give us a part two instead of just scrapping it & making our part two the only video. It shows us that anybody can make mistakes & that it's ok to make them, even if it means you've got to start all over again. I hate when one of my projects doesn't turn out & I've got to start over again. It's so frustrating! But hey, we're only human lol

I have ADHD and I have wanted to make a KZbin channel for my art forever. But my interests are so varied I always thought my channel would be a garbled mess that doesn't make sense as a unit. I love this channel because you are so good at branding your videos with your logo, your intro, your music... all of your videos are just so... Shmoxd... even though you do a ton of different types of art. It gives me hope that maybe some day I can figure out a way to make a KZbin channel that works.
@henloworld5143 жыл бұрын
Honestly I relate so much and I have no experience to back this up but just go for it! Just wing it and you’ll (probably) eventually end up with a channel that works. Plus you can create as many channels as you want if you have a bunch of emails so a fresh start is always available

I relate too tbh. I just started posting some covers and drawings but I get easily discouraged cause I'm thinking no one will care (and of course they won't ever get monetized because they're covers). I think the key is to "do cool things just because", not especially for people to watch.

One of the issues you might be running into is the monks cloth you got is a bit too loose. I know for punch needling, you generally want to get the 2 by 2 style monks cloth because it’s the tightness of that style that will help keep the loops together. The one you are using is more for Scandinavian style tapestry work, which is a bit different. For tufting I believe there is also a different material as well. Try and get your monks cloth as taut as possible.

I so admire You on taking risks and letting Yourself admit the defeat on the first attempt. I have a huge problem with failures leading to wasting materials. I know that it is a part of the process, especially when one is learning new techniques and trying to grow as an artist, but I am so afraid of being wasteful it almost freezes my creativity. If someone here have some tips on how to change this mentality - please, share them with me.
