Just an FYI for those security torx bit, you can just use a small flat head and break off the center pin of the security torx bit allowing you to use a regular torx bit.

For what youre paying for the repair kits, you could just buy knock off m12 batteries and either replace the cell pack or use them till they die and then replace the cell pack. They use the same case. Ive used the upper part of dead knock off battery cases to fix my broken genuine Milwaukee packs.

If you want the lifetime and power or oem battery its best to upgrade them yourself otherwise the amazon ones prob include the cheapest 18650s you can buy.
@johncoops68972 жыл бұрын
Note that you can just buy the black clips... no need to buy the complete shell. They are somewhat difficult to search for, and note that they only suit the old style (2-part no-screw) red casing design.

Idk how you manage to break so many of the battery housings, the only problem I've experienced with the M12 batteries. Are with the battery cells going bad. So naively have to buy me cells to take apart, find the dead ones and replace them. Or sacrifice one of the old batteries that has a 1 or more dead cells, to utilize the good cells in another broken battery. Debating on using a broken 3 mH amp, to fix a 6 mH amp. Or sacrificing a perfectly good 2 mH amp battery, to hopefully maybe fix both my 6 amp and 3 amp. Since both of those are better then the 2 mH amp.

I don’t have this problem but Milwaukee batteries are more expensive than the tools themselves so if this happens to me and I’m out of warranty I’m buying the same battery Guting it exchanging it and getting what I paid for

Idk what happened. But my 6.0 battery case just fell apart. Picked tool up by battery an clips just popped off. From they're on out its just been deteriorating. Notices today the red plastic part is cracking al to hell. I've never dropped this battery or exposed it to caustic chemicals

How do I use my 12v 40ah Lithium battery to power an M12 Tool? Anyone tried that before? I can get spade terminals onto the M12 Tool's Pos + and Neg- terminals, but there's a third pin labeled "T" that I don't understand

Is there a way to fix it to where it won’t fall out of the handle. That’s the problem I’m having
@ryeweskey8 ай бұрын
I've had that happen from dropping my Sawzall. It's likely the handle of the case that is broken. Try a worm gear clamp on the handle to tighten it up and hold it where it should be.

I got a brand new m12 5.0 battery from home depot that doesnt even charge. 100% dead. Im about to start buying from a different source and different brand too. I build houses and work on industrial buildings and dont have much time to be fixing bad batterys all the time. I give m12 a negitive 4 out of 5 stars. The m12 circular saw is junk too btw, dont waist your money on that junk. Buy makita or dewalt because they dont sell you shit that doesnt work.

TIM from Canada. Milwaukee M 12 batteries to Milwaukee you should’ve really thought of a better solution to your battery line. it is very difficult at times to get batteries out of tools.. The concept of your batteries was not a very good solution why is it so hard to push the buttons to get your battery out should’ve come up with better concept but I guess once it leaves your factory not your problem not surprising batteries and tools are the best on tool circuit today but should have been a better solution to getting batteries out of tools when it takes you more than five minutes to get a battery out you know there is a problem but again not your problem because once it leaves your factory again not your problem

Tim from Canada.. every Milwaukee M 12 Milwaukee M 18 batteries I have ever used they do not go into charger. These are brand new batteries and trying to take them out of the charger is even worse now putting batteries onto the drills and other. Power tools, M 12 battery.. you need to fix the buttons on your batteries these do not work even with brand new batteries you people really have a lot to learn when it comes to putting on batteries now same thing goes M 18 batteries onto power tools is even worse. You know people do not say enough about the Ryobi tools or tool brand, but what I can say is the batteries and the buttons on all of the chargers and tools I have ever used. I have never had one problem taking batteries off of a tool putting them on a tool taking them out of a charger putting them on a charger. My problem is with Milwaukee M 12 Milwaukee M 18 battery line you people need to go back into the productions and figure out where you screwed up…. I sure wish I had a channel on KZbin. There is so much wrong with what goes on with these power tools… do you not get me started with the prices you people church here in Canada for your power tools three times the price of USA… I can go to USA buy power tools that are half the price of what you people are charging us. Canadians it is just terrible. . and to say people do not have problems with the batteries meaning that they are afraid to speak up against you people I do not hold anything back. If stuff is shit I will tell you straight out. Milwaukee supposed to be the pro tool line but the buttons on your batteries are subpar garbage needs to be fixed…. The buttons are too stiff. They need to have some sort of spring tension so you can push them but they are stiff. They do not work 95% of the time. Well that is my review of your Milwaukee tools….. doing these reviews tells me a lot people are afraid to speak up against what they buy me. I buy the tools as I need them. It would be nice to have a promotion tool sent and then I give my review, but I do not have a KZbin station. This is my setback for this.

Tim from Canada brand new batteries from Milwaukee M 12 put in the charger buttons do not work on top of battery five minutes trying to get the stupid thing to go and then it shows red light because batteries do not want to sit in charger strike two on this battery..5 minutes moving around trying to get battery to sit into charger. No it is in charger still getting red light. I have to pound it three times on the floor now we’re just working brand new battery and worth shit now I got the green light on supposed to take a minimum of a half a day to charge batteries two days and still no charge again pounding on the batteries, now I got it to work. It is charged now cannot get batteries out of charger because buttons do not work…. no got to get vice grips out of toolbox clamping vice grips onto a battery is not the way this is supposed to work, but I got pressured enough to release the buttons.. after taking battery out of case no I take the hammer and smash the top of the vice grips brand new battery and worst shit.. seems to work now. Are you need pair of vise grips and a hammer to get Milwaukee M 12 battery to work?.. do you not get me started on getting batteries out of Milwaukee M 18 fuel tools, same production.. if I had a KZbin channel, this would be one of the highlights you would not want to see on your brand, new Milwaukee, batteries, pair of vise grips, and a hammer to get your batteries to work.. this is my review. Thank you.
