What glue do you use
@AridaBjd
@AridaBjd 23 күн бұрын
I use B-7000 glue. I'm very happy with this glue, it's slow-acting, 100% transparent, invisible and holds great and it's perfect for gluing anything that looks like glass, the tube has a nice nozzle and needle designed cap that prevents clogging, all the small glue drops are well controlled. I tried many different ones but B-7000 glue is much better. But please note that after gluing the walls, it's better to wait until they stick well, so it's better to glue the walls and leave overnight. Also, it's a slow-acting glue and you can move it once it was glued. It will hold just as tightly as super glue, but if you glued something with super glue, nothing can be moved or changed. About all the dry flowers and grass I used fast action super glue (I have super glue-gel from Henkel). I use it when I need to glue something as fast as possible. But you can make every kit with B-7000 only. Happy crafting and good luck with your kit!

I have 2x number A15 like in the book say, but they use 3 of them 🤔 How can i solve this problem.
@AridaBjd
@AridaBjd 2 ай бұрын
Yes, you need 2 pieces of A15. The first piece A15 at 12:18 is glued to the wall from the window side. Then at 12:43 the other piece is A14 (not A15), it's almost the same, but it has holes for the door hinges. Then at 12:45 you need to glue the second piece A15 on top of the piece A14 to which you have already glued the hinges. And the finished piece will be glued from the door side. You don't need to glue another piece on top, there are only 2 pieces glued together. I hope this will be useful for you! Good luck with your kit and happy crafting!

Question, how to make a perfect tiny sofa pillow?😊
@AridaBjd
@AridaBjd 11 ай бұрын
I'm so happy that you liked these little pillows! I cut off a little more fabric than needed for the pillow, applied slow-action glue (I checked both rubber and silicone glue are suitable), then rolled the fabric into a roll. Now the most important thing: you need to immediately quickly press the corners of the pillow into the desired shape while the glue is still wet. Then use scissors to cut off the edges of the fabric so that the pillow becomes the desired shape (square or long). After this, you need to press the corners again until the small pillow becomes cute. The pillow may bend inward a little, but that’s okay, because we’ll glue it to the sofa or bed and it won’t be visible. Next time I'll try to show the pillows better and more detailed. There are same pillows in next 2 houses from this collection so I'll have more practice how to show them better! I hope you will like them too!

Hi, I just made this little house and was a lot of fun….what did you use to fill the gaps?
@AridaBjd
@AridaBjd 7 ай бұрын
Hi! Congratulations! ❤ I took white paper and rolled it very tightly, so I got columns to cover the gaps. I think that this house was quite difficult and first of all because of these gaps and three opening doors. The result was worth it, the house is very beautiful, but it's one of the most difficult from this collection, The corner restaurant is also difficult, and the rest are much easier

@@AridaBjd Thank you for the response and tip for the gaps 😆 I will try it, and think it looks much better with them. I have 2 more of this brand to make and do find the smaller ones more challenging but is always worth it in the end…this became a hobby of mine during Covid and I haven’t stopped since 😀 your video helped me along the way when I struggled. Thank you very much! I'm so happy that you like this idea! Same here! I made my first kit in 2020 when I was so bored because of the lockdown, there was no any chance to have a vacation or go out and spend some time outside! And I can’t stop, just like you! I love all this tiny houses so much! Yes, the smaller kits are harder to make, but I like that it's a real houses, not just a room without two walls. I hope they make more of these, this is my favorite collection! And the smaller houses are more compact and take up less space on the shelf! Thanks again! Happy crafting to you too! Good luck with your kits and I wish you a lot of inspiration!

such great beautiful work! What glue do you use?
@AridaBjd
@AridaBjd 10 ай бұрын
Thank you very much! I use B-7000 clear (or T-7000, T-8000 are very good too) it's transparent, invisible and holds great. You can make all this kit only with this glue. I really like it, but it is slow-acting, after you glue something you have to wait. I glued walls and floor with fast action "Adhesive MOMENT GEL by Henkel" (or Patex, they have the same). I tried the B-7000 but it's not so fast and I had no time to wait! (He-he-he). It can be used for wire, metal and wooden parts etc. This small super glue is the best one for gluing walls to each other, and then walls to the floor, as well as all the wooden furniture. If you can't find the same glue you can use any fast super glue in a small long tube that looks alike. And if you can't find B-7000 I recommend you to glue transparent parts (beads, lamps etc.) with Hard UV resin "QIAO QIAO DIY" instead of glue to create a beautiful transparent glass effect. It's clear acrylic resin that gets cured under UV (ultraviolet) or direct sunlight in minutes. It's perfect to create water and other liquid effects (or you can use UV gel nail polish. When I ran out of it I used my UV gel nail polish from Kodi. But please note that it must not be sticky "Soak-off" top). And if I have glue somewhere where it shouldn't be, I paint it on top with UV resin or nail polish because it's better to have a glossy glass or water effect than just a white patch of glue. And if you can't find B-7000 or similar glue I can recommend you to glue wallpapers and paper parts with the slow-acting "MOMENT CRYSTAL transparent glue by Henkel" (or Patex). I used it before I found B-7000 and the result was great. I still use it for paper craft projects because it's much cheaper than B-7000, I had left over and it can be found at the nearest local store. It's perfect for paper and textile because it's almost invisible and has a rubber texture, it can be used for wallpapers, books, pillows, blankets, and all the small paper items).

@@AridaBjd B7000 works fabulously, thank you so much for recommending. I have finished making my first molar house kit using the B7000 glue and it made everything a lot easier than using the original glue that came with the kit. Your video made it all seem so easy hahaha. I tried making mine look perfect and struggled in the very beginning before I got used to making things in such a small scale. Just enough to prove how skilled you are at all this. Clean cuts, precise measurements, perfect angles of the bending parts of the metal cords and all that. You really did it perfectly. Thank you so much for such a detailed reply and such clear instructions of the process. i can't wait to make my own warm house!

@@caseysiethy Aww! Thank you very much dear! 😍😍😍 I am so happy to read your kind words! I made a lot of this small houses and I'm sure you'll make the same, even better! About this Warm house: I highly recommend you don't glue that paper parts with grass pattern onto the green wooden pieces, I didn't like the white edges of the paper and I think that this green wood looks much better without any paper. You can chop up dry green plants, they will look just like natural grass and, on my opinion, it will be much more realistic. This is not difficult at all, just crumble the green plants into very small pieces with your fingers, then apply glue to the green parts and strew this tiny green plants on top, wait a little and shake off everything that was not stick. I think it will be very beautiful and I hope you like it! I wish you good luck and lot of inspiration with you kit! If you'll have any questions, please ask, I'm gonna be happy to help! ❤❤❤

Thank you very much dear Jessy! Please sorry for my late answer, I hope it's still relevant for you (I can't use my PC while I'm making video because of the big light cube on my desk that hides my monitor and my keyboard as well). I don’t have any Sylvanian families babies so I asked Google and didn’t quite understand about the size with ears and without ears, they also write that there are different bunnies and Persian cats and different sizes depending on the pose. So I’ll write you the dimensions: 1) the height of the Pink castle house is 13 cm (5,12 in), the width when it is closed is 8,9 cm (3,15 in) without a balcony, the height of the lower floor from floor to ceiling is 3,9 cm (1,54 in), the height of the second floor is from floor to ceiling 3,7 cm (1,46 in), chair height 1,9 cm (0,75 in), bed length 2,6 cm (1,02 in), bath length 2,2 cm (0,87 in). 2) the height of the Warm house (the blue one) is 13 cm (5,12 in), the width when it is closed is 8,4 cm (3,31 in), the height of the lower floor from floor to ceiling is 3,2 cm (1,26 in), the height of the second floor is from floor to ceiling 4,1 cm (1,61 in) too. 3) the height of the Dessert shop is 13 cm (5,12 in), the width when it is closed is 8,4 cm (3,31 in) without a balcony, the height of the lower floor from floor to ceiling is 4,1 cm (1,61 in), the height of the second floor is from floor to ceiling 4,1 cm (1,61 in) too. 4) the height of the Gift shop is 13,5 cm (5,31 in), the width is 8,4 cm (3,31 in), the height of the lower floor from floor to ceiling is 4,9 cm (2,36 in) but due to the empty space under the roof, the size is larger and you can put a tall doll, but 2 cm (0,79 in) will be covered by the roof, the height of the second floor is from floor to ceiling 4 cm (1,57 in) too. Unfortunately I can’t make a video with them, I would like to and I definitely need to buy few for myself so I'll compare size and know exactly what to answer, they are so sweet and cute, but the price is still expensive for me, I hope that I will buy them someday). This houses looks good next to both large and small dolls, it looks like a dollhouse for dolls so if this house will be big for sylvanian families babies you can use them as dollhouses for sylvanian kids (that ones in middle size who are not babies and not parents). I'll show two more houses in same size soon.
