This video is what I have been hunting for. Creating a station, not just a stand. I’ve sat down and drawn your exact miter saw table I don’t know how many times; just haven’t seen the idea executed and haven’t had the nerve to just jump in and start building it without being certain. Thank you. Very much.

... AWESOME! Other than a little too much play on the barn hinges I purchased this design has worked out very well for my small work area. If you are going to replicate it, consider buying better hinges.

Great results. I too have a harbor freight miter saw and i stopped using it because i hated lugging it around. I do most of my work outside and i needed a compact solution. This is great! Good job.

Do you have plans or deminsions or cuttling list. Specifically I’d like to know the suggested overall height and the lxwxd. Love this simple station. Thanks.

… hey Jack, thank you for stopping by. I am unsure if I said this in the video, but I made this to fit me (meaning my height) and the particular saw I have, a Chicago Electric 12-inch. I could drop some demission's on SketchUp, but I don't see that being very useful. Stand up and measure from the floor to your belly button. That is the ideal height for your deck (the saw's surface). The width, offset of the legs (distance between the saw's deck and bottom), and depth are all relevant to your saw make and model. Give me a day or so, and I'll create a simple CAD drawing. That is, if I am able to upload it via my phone. I still don't have internet due to IAN.

Hej great build, I specifically like the support arms for the wings, just wonder if this solution is strong enough, any comments on your experience up to now? Thanks

Hey this is very nice video. Like you I also use a decent set of Harbor Freight tools since I am just a hobbyist and can't justify some of the expensive pro grade tools. I like your approach and more importantly your ingenuity to address short comings of using reasonably priced ordinary material like 2x4 construction lumber. I have recently picked up a Harbor Freight saw that was on clearance and want to build a similar cart. Do you have any suggestions, modifications or improvements since you have been possibly using this for well over a two years now. Especially did you manage to put on those T-Tracks that you didn't have when making this video. Looking forward to your response. Thanks in advance. Oh BTW, I just subscribed too.
