Just put the brackets in the concrete far enough back that you can still screw the boards in. Just predrill the holes first.

For sure it will wiggle as you sit
@Remodelaholic7 жыл бұрын
+Jeffrey Sonio it is solid as a rock. Think about it, there are 6 sets of angle brackets, plus the legs each weigh about 40 - 50 lbs, it doesn't wiggle AT ALL. It is grounded very well. We have it in our yard and we sit on it all the time- no wiggle!

I’m creating a small box from wood and concrete and i love this idea. But Im restricted from using any adhesives. Do you think it will work with out it? ps. Love the awesome video!
@Remodelaholic5 жыл бұрын
It might work? It just depends on how big your box is and what it will be holding. Because mine was a bench I needed to use glue for extra support. Thanks for watching and liking the video.

With those burly brackets? I’m sure it’ll be fine.

In the video you say cut all boards to the same length but it looks like one board must be shorter than the other two.
@Remodelaholic7 жыл бұрын
+Rick Beligni they are all the same length but the ends are offset the width of the concrete. So on one end two pieces appear longer, on the other end only one piece appears longer (but technically they are all the same length). Look at the top of the bench, the ends are different!

Oh thank you I see now. You're so kind to reply to me I really like the build and I would hope to replicate it.

”pepe amazing plan” (Google it), is certainly a detailed woodworking book! It breaks every little thing down, using words, drawings, real photos, and various diagrams. It is amazingly informative and helps me feel like I could help my brother while we create our furniture together.

seems like the first 190 lb person who jumps against the corner of this is going to bend the brackets and collapse the whole thing.

It is very sturdy and it has been about two years without a single issue, out in all four seasons year round...
