Your online store is a scam. I purchased the plans but I am still waiting to receive an email with the file. Why is it not instant like everything else that's digital? I don't have all week to send emails back and forth to chase up my order.

I really appreciate that you build this whole thing with tools any DIY woodworker has. A lot of videos are like use this thousand dollar specialty tool, but really a pocket hole tool is the only thing I have to go get (we actually have the same miter saw as the video).

Nice! Perfect AS IS! Personally, I would add adjustable back angles PLUS ability to lay back down with fold out legs to lay out flat level with seat to sleep under the stars!
@iserod22067 ай бұрын
I just made these last fall but as a 2 pc. so it was less of a "beast" to lift/move. HOWEVER, one of the arm rests has completely come off from the legs!! I did use outdoor glue & pocket-held it together! We barely and temporarily moved it just so we could power wash our patio!! So although i didn't want to see screw holes from the top, I had no choice but to secure arms from the top into the legs at an angle.

Looks good. Get you sum of those nail furniture feet that are plastic. It will keep the feet off the deck about 1/8-1/4” so the legs don’t rot out too soon. That’s what I did with my outdoor sectional and 6yrs later on concrete going good.

Matt I love your stuff. I love to build outdoor stuff too and seeing this inspires me to get out there and build something new. 2 things I do a little different are one I use the glue from the green bottle of the brand you used. The blue glue has failed when I grabbed the wrong bottle on a planter build I did last year. That did get a ton of water, admittedly. The other thing I try to do is incorporate a dado or rabbet to support horizontal structures rather than rely on the sheer strength of the screws. I guess it's more out of fear of something happening than actual experience. Lots of good family time ahead on that though.

Howdy Mr. 731... Though I've been watching 👀 ya for over a year now and knew about this video, I hadn't watched it til now. 😅 I know you got better cameras and lighting n stuff now, but tbh, I liked the video quality of "this" video. It just seemed more crisp and "HD" like. I'm chiming in for this purpose....Your sprayer. I've got the exact same one very much so because of you, used your link, love that sprayer and been using it for, I dunno, a year I guess. With that being said, I know your always looking for video ideas. I have seen multiple videos on the "Critter" sprayer. It costs about half as much if I remember correctly and it uses Mason jars to hold the stain or lacquer etc. It's HVLP (I think) and can be run off a regular pancake compressor instead of a 50 gallon minimum, which is "required" for other HVLP sprayers. The benefits of the Critter is that, it uses common mason jars instead of plastic containers. Though the Homeright is FANTASTIC, it only comes with the one container of which, needs cleaning after use. Mason jars however, you can by individually, by the 6 pack or by the dozen for less than $20 bucks at the Walmart. So, you can pour in some stain. Use what ya need and then, when your done, just remove the jar and screw on the lid. Label and put on the shelf to be used later. No cleaning other than the sprayer. And, because it can be used with a simple pancake compressor, it's more accessible and affordable to most woodworkers. Since your channel is geared towards the beginner woodworkers as well as TOOLS, give the Critter a spotlight video review. I don't own one (yet) but would love to see ya do a review on it.

@chrisrasmussen50183 жыл бұрын
I did a similar project to replace my patio furniture. Frames were rusted but the cushions were in great shape. I used 5/4 deck boards instead of 1x6's. They were considerably cheaper at my local lumber yards. Of course this was just over a year ago so prices have changed. I've done one non-scrap wood project since because prices are so crazy.
