DIY MOTO LOADER for TRUCK.

I wacked this thing together in a few days. Works great! Don't look too closely at my welds . . . ;-)
Can load/unload a 200kg+ bike, easy-peasy.
Materials/winch etc, cost about $500 bucks.

Thanks for sharing the video Tori. Just the sort of thing I was thinking of for loading my scrambler onto my Mog. With a few small tweeks it could also be handy for getting other heavy gear on and off like spare wheels etc.. Thanks again.

Very cool to see you design/build this yourself. Especially for making one that can handle the weight of our fat pig of a Desert Sled onto a pretty tall truck bed. I’m surprised at how stable it is by just being locked in at the footpegs and the front wheel chock. Nicely done.

I think it would load a Goldwing as is. It is very solidly constructed, and the winch is rated to 3000lbs

Awesome setup, How do you lock down the sled onto the tray? Ratchet straps diagonally across the tray or chains? Cheers.

Yep, ratchet straps that hook to the platform eyelets, then run under the truck tray. Have done thousands of kilometres with 2 x ratchet straps and the bike hasn't moved.

Cheers, it's a great truck for sure. Picked it up in 2022 from AAV (Australian Adventure Vehicles) in Brisbane. They have paused imports, I was one of 3 that managed to get one ordered before the Ukraine war.
