Never worry about pushing and pulling the timing. It's part of the dynamics. I saw a video (maybe by Rick Beato) about the timing of Jimi Hendrix and how different parts of a song were ever so lightly faster or slower and how this contributed to excitement or relaxation and that magic that you can't get out of a constant roboclicktrack.

I find it amazing that LP can turn a song like Crocodile Rock from a background noise, plays on the radio, on while you're doing something else song into a stop my world song. I'm a little surprised to hear that it has lyrics and those lyrics have "feels" attached. While I'm here, It brings me joy to have found Tyler Bryant is far from the stereotypical, inflated ego rocker and is a straight up, righteous human being. Lots of old souls in Larkin Poe Land.

There is always great excitement on any LP album release. One thing I really like about this pandemic, if there's anything to like at all, is LP's increased KZbin video presence. 👍👍👍 Since they can't tour right now, there's more time for recording and making videos. Hurray for that! 👍💖🎸😎

You are right - but don' t we as "fans" put very much pressure on them to produce more and more stuff / entertainment? I appreciated the video where Rebecca and Megan sat on their porch and confessed that they had time for gardening and cooking the first time ever. Aren't these the moments of recreation that help to be real creative? Yes, I love to see new videos every now and then - but my excitement is greater, when they surprise us all with new ideas, sparkeling eyes and smiling faces. This is why I am preferring them to many other artists. They aren't just selling goods, no, they joyfully share moments of discovering little musical wonders with us. See DIY slide/guitar for example. See the idea of stripping down old songs and constructing them new. Or the idea to shine a light on the southern musical heritage through a new musical lens. This is the reason why I am trying to patiently wait for any next release. But, honestly, it is hard to wait for the next vinyl when it is hanging right before your nose like a carrot. 10 more days! Oh, I admit this is shortsighted. The real hard pressure is done by the virus that prevents artists from earning money in front of large crowds. Let's hope the BioNTec vaccination will solve this mess very soon.

@@georgrittel4243 I love your comments about the blues sisters. 👍👍👍👍👍 I have felt those very same things that you expressed. They have a love and appreciation for the music they play and create. It's okay to let them work hard. They're in their creative prime. They will never get these years back once these years are gone. I see them making great music throughout their lives, but now is the time for them to give it everything they have. They're building their future and yes, this damn plague has thrown a monkey wrench into their beloved career and even our lives. What have they done? They've found a way to keep their art alive and out there for us fans who are eager to soak up their wonderful music. I met Rebecca and Megan after one of their shows. They are down-to-earth and haven't let their success go to their heads. They are kind and respectful people as well. They've got their heads screwed on right. Even if the blues sisters were to leave their career in music behind, they would be successful at whatever they decide to do. Let's hope that they continue to make music for us at least once in a while if that happens!

I applaud your courage and honesty for sharing the ups and downs of the creative process. I also admire your integrity to admit that after all that work something was missing. I agree with your gut. The chemistry (and love) between you two is absolutely a life giving spark. I think this love and respect for each other in the creative process makes your music unique. But I also believe that the genuine love and respect you have for those musicians and song writers whose work you're covering comes through in your covers bringing new life to those works of art. I hope that makes sense. I am so looking forward to this CD coming in the mail, so that I can emerse myself in all this love and music. Thank you Rebecca and Megan. Funny you should mention them, I was just watching a documentary on Stevie called "Stevie Nicks Through The Looking Glass". When they recorded Rumours, the band had many problems with relationships falling apart and the excesses and stresses of rock superstardom. Many of the songs on the album deal with those problems. It's amazing that they were able to function as a group and produce one of the greatest albums of the classic '70's rock era. Haven't heard about the Nu Deco and LP live stream collaboration.
