I have a planner from last year that I would like to repurpose. It's paper, however, is on the thin side, I have covered one page with gesso, but it will have to have another coat. The page seems a little wrinkled from the moisture of the gesso. Is that normal, or does that mean the paper is too thin? What are your thoughts? This is my first time using gesso. I love the idea of mixing it with acrylic paint to get different colors for backgrounds. Thanks!
