what can I use to hang it on my wall instead of using legs

Samantha Crudup you can use a heavy duty picture hanger, that’s what I used to hang my daughters. It has two parts, one that attaches to your wall and the other part attaches to the back of the headboard and it’s so easy. You can get it from Home Depot, Lowe’s or Amazon
