I am so excited to be showing you this led sconce light hack I recently learned about. This is an easy beginner diy level project, but adds so much warmth to a space!

That is so great to know, I had bought a light sconce at a thrift shop just because I loved the look of it even though I knew hooking up electric for it was probably not going to happen anytime soon. Now I have a solution. It's also good to know that is a warm puck light, I don't care for the cool tone. Thank you!

Thank you! I ordered it on amazon, amzn.to/2IlBnMu I ordered a men's medium, and it's true to their measurment charts. I also ordered it in the heathered blue because that was a cotton blend ( the solids are 100% cotton)

Is there any way I can attach the sconces to the wall without screws or drills? My boyfriends landlord is super strict and won’t allow it. Maybe command strips? I’m not DIY savvy so any suggestions help!
@crazy4shuz
@crazy4shuz 3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if command strips will hold that much weight (sconce +light+batteries), if you look on the package of the command strip it should have a maximum weight. The only thing I can think of is mounting them to the side of a furniture piece like a bookcase or armoire. You could do a bench flanked by bookcases with sconces for a cute reading nook. This is the blog I borrowed the idea from, she does the bookcase sconce nestingwithgrace.com/diy-sconces-light-without-electricity/

@crazy4shuz
@crazy4shuz 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, they make using anchors so easy! They come in plastic or metal, I usually try to get the metal ones, I feel like they're sturdier. Here's a link to what they look like www.lowes.com/pd/E-Z-Ancor-4-Pack-1-1-4-in-x-1-2-in-Dia-Standard-Drywall-Anchor-Screws-Included/1042127?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-hdw-_-ggl-_-LIA_HDW_126_Fastening-_-1042127-_-0-_-0-_-0&ds_rl=1286981&gclid=Cj0KCQiAkNiMBhCxARIsAIDDKNVTvRBdyfGoHjtTbtlsLt8QUedTkgbNF23cjmm8ACo5rf0yXJSUk3gaAsRAEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

another plant channel oh that is awesome, I've never used anchors before, because I am not to handy with a drill, wouldn't know what size drill bit to use. So this changes everything. And I will be able to secure my heavy mirror to the wall that's hanging precariously.Thanks so much for your time!
