petroleum jelly wouldn't hold the shape - if you can't find actual beeswax for cheap, buy a few beeswax lip balms like Burt's Bees

Anna Santillan You'll need beeswax if you plan to mix it with oil. You can also melt other chapsticks with the EOS leftovers. Good luck!

Beeswax is good for keeping it's shape and so you don't have to refrigerate it :)

Yes but with 15 second intervals at a time so it doesn't burn (keep putting 15 seconds until it melts! ) Hope that helps:)

Thank you so much for this video, I got myself a 3 color in one lipstick before, and it made my lips itch, don't know what chemical was that my skin couldn't tolerate. I might try to do this sometimes, it's just a shame that we don't get access to beeswax that easy in Hong Kong. Anyway, nice video !! :-)

I love it how you didn't pour excess into the bottom container. I was loving it how you were pouring EXACTLY the amount EOS company would when they manufacture the lip balms. This way, you don't have to force yourself to use up the rest of the lip balm at the bottom before re-using the container. And this is why you are a genius!

Nice video! I like your way of aking an eos lipbalm, bc lots of tutorials show to use transparent foil as a mold and then you're supposed to smooth the shape with your fingers. T never really liked this technique and now I found your ^^ To make the transition even smoother you could make more layers, layer 1 would be the lightest colour, layer two would be the lightest colour+the 2nd-lightest colour(wait about 1.2 minutes until you mix the two shades), then the 2nd lightest colour only etc.. :D
