Putting this video out to help anyone who many be looking to build a stand for their outboard motor and trolling motor. The challenge was to build motor the was big enough to fit both my motors and not take up too much space in my garage since I have limited space to work with. On this stand I'll be storing my Mercury 9.9 outboard motor and my Minn Kota Endura Max 55lb trolling motor. Everything turned out pretty good. The stand is extremely stable and looks good :). Enjoy the video ladies and gents.

I’ve just got to say that I’m totally blown away with not only your SKILLS but your AWESOME ATTITUDE towards everything you take on! I can tell by all the videos I’ve watched of yours that you’re a really good guy! I’m hoping to take this project on after watching you blast through it. I’m totally disabled but I hope to get mine made before our first freeze this year(2021). Like you, I want mine to be able to hold my trolling motor as well. You’ve got the exact same outboard as I do along with a 55Lb thrust trolling motor!! I hope mine turns out as good as yours but I doubt it will, haha. But as long as it won’t tip over I’ll be more than grateful from learning from you!! I’ll def place my 2 heavy batteries on the other side of the stand to provide more stability just like you’re doing. Thanks again for always having such a positive attitude with all your builds! I’ve learned so much from you with all your videos!! Keep the good fight going brother, please continue to make more videos! I can’t thank you enough for providing such good detailed videos!!

Great video, made a stand to hold my 20hp johnson, gas tank and my trolling Motor. I used all scrap wood and wheels. The only thing I had to buy was screws to put the wheels on. Total cost of new money spent was $5.65. Took About 1 hour once I found all the wood I would be using. Thanks again

Great video and I followed it step by step to build my motor stand. I wanted to bring something to your attention. The list of materials in the description is missing two of the boards used in the video. I had to make another trip to Lowes because I ran out of wood. Lol! All good. Just thought you should know. I appreciate the great content and following some of your other videos for wiring and hinges for hatches. Keep it coming!

It’s the best stand I have seen from many in youtube and this is the one I’m following to make mine. Just one observation, I think you are short two cuts in your list. I count 12 cuts in total; but only 10 cuts are mentioned on the list.

Went with 36" vertical posts and a 2x6 up top to attach motor to since it's a Long Shaft, offset the bottoms at 12" in front of vertical posts and 20" behind to soak up some more leverage. She looks good, thanks again for the great video!

Nice plan. You could have saved a couple of bucks by buying 2 locking and 2 nonlocking castor wheels . Install the 2 locking ones on diagonal opposite corners of the stand.

Great Video Maeem (?? is that correct?) building this now but with heavier verticals as I have a 15 Merc and 2 9.9's (Evinrude and Tohatsu). also putting wheels with inflated (large) tires on mine as it's pretty heavy. Thanks, love your channel!! Shalom from Haifa!! p.s. also have a 260hp 5.7l OMC Cobra but thankfully it stays in the boat.....

That slick bro! I plan to build one of these but i may have to scale up? I have two older motors ,both Merc's. Ones a 9.9 and the other is a huge 40HP Merc! LOL the motor it self is a big and round as a large trashcan! Put a whole new upper end on it and still need a water pump. I think the motor is a "72"? HEHE and the 9.9 is an old rental motor and the guy gave me a spare that didnt run for parts. Now no boat!!! HAHA So i gotta build one of thes because both motors are on a piece of lumber on the floor and leaning against the wall as well...... :>/ Glad i have all the material laying around the garage too! :>) thanks bud!

I followed the video to make my stand and you're right. The measurements weren't precise and I had to make some adjustments. There were also a couple boards missing in the description from what was shown in the video. I just dropped a friendly comment to the brother to bring it to his attention. I'm sure it was a mistake. Great video otherwise.
