Kirt, Happy birthday late. HA! HA! It is my lady's birthday today. I had to laugh when I read "box truck build on budget". Isn't all box truck builds on a budget? I know mine is and most people I talk to has some kind of budget. I can tell your budget is a lot bigger than mine. HA! HA! I guess if we didn't have a budget we would have someone else do all the work. HA! HA! I like that U-all keep going even when it snows. U can't get a job done without sticking to it. So great job Kirt and U have a great family to help U do it. Hope to see U-all when U come to the PNW. God bless and take care. Russ & Keira (my dog) HA! HA

Thank you for the bday wishes! Come check us out at Overland Expo next weekend if you’re in the area! As for the budget part….we’re more or less referring to our take on the whole build as a “DIY Earthroamer” that doesn’t cost $1M + which isn’t realistic for most people. Cheers, have a great week! And Happy 4th!

Its a planaer heater. they are copycats of webasto and espar, you never have to worry about the heater freezing. its the fuel line that needs to be insulated and heated. were in canada and in sask we have minus 55 to 65 celsius wich is equaly as bad as fahrenheit lol… my gasoline webasto never froze on me yet ! lucky me. other than diesel heaters whos lines usually start freezing at minus 20-25 celsius

We had an espar with the high altitude kit in our previous rig and it was soo frustrating it bricked out on us at elevation about 7000ft. Then we would have to take it to an authorized place to have it unlocked… so far the planar has been doing just fine! Kicked up without a hitch at 10,000ft +!
