I install a XTM Drawer / Fridge slide on top of my MDF False floor. This is part 3/3 of my Pajero rear storage mods videos.

Nice Job! Can you please tell me what the width is between the XTM Drawer and the wall you've put in on the RHS rear section? Thanks. I want to remove the RHS 2nd row bench seat and use that space (back to the rear door) as an elevated single bed with built-in storage underneath. I'm still tossing up whether to remove the 2nd row LHS single seat as I've seen another video where this could be used effectively as a lounge chair. As a single traveler this would give me a lot of versatility. Cheers.

Hey mate. Love the videos - informative, straight to the point (no self-loving waffle) and well documented. Question on the XTM drawer set, I imagine that you cannot use the child restraint on the side that you have your drawer/fridge slide?

Yeah that's right mate. It does knock out one of your child restraints, so the little one has to sit on the driver side, where the OEM child restraint is. For those who require 2 restraints, I have heard of some people running a 'crab bar' from one side of the car to the other then child restraints coming off that, but I have never seen the install in person and I wouldn't trust it unless installed by professionals. Child safety should definitely be #1 priority.

Hey, How hard is it to remove the drawer only? Reason I ask is that my recovery tools are all under my current drawers and I just have a cutout in the floor rather than a lid so I can slide the drawer out and bingo Bangor, access the 3rd row seat well. Would love to be able to do this if I got these drawers. Also, my fridge opens with the hinge on the long way. I noticed your ceiling prevents hour fridge from opening, do you think I'll have the same problem or can you slide the entire drawer unit closer to the rear?

Hi, To remove the drawer from it's frame, there is 2 spring loaded bolts at the back of the drawer. Pull both of them and the drawer pulls out completely from the drawer frame. Takes 2 minutes. Unfortunately you can't move the drawer further towards the back door. It only just fits between the 2nd row seats and the back door, give or take 1cm.

@@Unfastened thanks for that mate. Alot to consider. I think i have to first raise my floor too as my battery/box is too tall for the floor to sit across at its current height. Then figure out where to bolt down the drawers to the actual vehicle 🤔

Hey mate, I've got the same unit, gonna copy your fridge stop idea... have you done anything to make it lock when the draw is out? (so it doesn't roll back when on a hill)

Hi Alen. I'm procrastinating about a new Mig/Tig welder. I would love to weld in a spring loaded latch to lock it in the 'out' position, which is something I feel they missed in the original design.

Thanks for sharing your upgrades and mod, I have the same Pajero. I would like to ask you about the drawers, noise? and the mod you did in the 3r line. Noisy? I have been thinking adding there a 30 lts water tank, and there´s still enough space for your kind of mod. That space is huge.

Actually, the area in the hole is big. I put an 85 liter water tank and an external tap
