XTM 4WD Modular Drawer with Slide and our False Floor system review

We have had alot of questions regarding our false floor installation in our Mitsubishi Pajero. Here is an update on how the drawers and floor are bolted to the car. Another great purchase from ‪@bcfaustralia‬

Thanks for joining us on this journey. Like most in Australia Covid has mucked our original traveling plans up. We are currently awaiting to take possession of our new caravan which is due in December 2021 (edit - now not due until February 2022).
Our aim is to document our travels around Australia driving our Mitsubishi Pajero. We will review places we have stayed and items we use as well as show you any changes we make to our car and caravan.

I have the XTM drawer which I got as present over 12 months ago. The key snapped in the barrel recently and NO locksmith can get the barrel. Both BCF and Supercheap are both lacking in any support to even ask the distributor for any spares. So if your considering getting this product then consider an alternative brand as XTM has NO support for product failures.

Yeah that lock is pretty crappy isnt it. We never bothered to look into getting it replaced. Thanks for watching and commenting

Heya, Have you guys taken the handles off yours yet to get the middle seats to recline to a more normal position? I have nx pajero, installed same drawer and thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these fridges too, I just want the kids to sit in a normal position :)

We didn't use the back seat enough so we didn't end up removing the handle however if you remove that handle the seat will recline to a much better position.

Thank you for your awesome videos! I have a MY13 pajero and plan to do exactly what you do for the rear on my pajero. Just wondering how the access is to the battery using the left hatch? I’m thinking there are two steel crossmembers at the bottom of the drawer unit so I may be unable to make a hatch large enough on the right side. Would you be able to share where exactly you put bolts to secure the floor? Thank you so much!

Thanks for watching. Yes there are cross members under the drawers and then we drilled through the false floor we made. We have since sold the car so unable to take photos for you
