I hope you all enjoyed this one - just a quick Saturday project! I can't wait to show you some of the other things I'm working on as well. I've been keeping busy and doing A LOT behind the scenes. More on that in the future though. Anyway I hope all of you are doing well! 🐸

When my wife found out I watch SerpaDesign she bought me a tiny terrarium kit for Bday. It has some hardscape elements, false bottom elements and some soil. Nuff said I planted it with whatever I could find in the park and streets nearby :D some random weeds and moss. And later on a random bit of grass started growing as well, unexpectedly :D And I bought some springtails and isopods for it.

This is one of my favorite designs yet. I love the verticality of the rocks, and the contrast of the underwater and above water views of them, with the mist marking the change. I think it worked out really well to have almost all of the plants above water, further distinguishing the two different worlds.

This may actually be one of my favorite builds! I love the contrast between the water area and the top half. It's like they're two different worlds, especially when the mist makes something almost like a barrier between the two. Love it!

It seems like every build you do is my new favorite. I love this, I have to do something with my 55 gallon tank. Btw, what you’re calling ‘knitting mesh’ has nothing to do with knitting and the real name is ‘plastic canvas’. It is used to do needlepoint on. Are you going to add any fish?

I’m guessing you may not have footage of when things go wrong but as someone who’s interested in getting into this hobby, I think it would be helpful. I had a couple of questions after stumbling across your channel recently (you do beautiful scapes, so relaxing and interesting to watch). I'm trying to set up a terrarium for some orchids of mine with particular needs, cloud forest style so cool temperatures (15-20C), high humidity, and decent airflow. I was thinking of an open top terrarium/paludarium like this, with a fogger for the humidity. My questions are: 1) how do you manage excesss moisture coming from your open topped tanks like this one, especially when the moisture is being atomised? 2) how do you deal with airflow in your 180 tank with the masdevallias, as they have similar care needs to the species I have? 3) what kind of fan would you recommend if extra air flow was needed? Would something like a computer fan work, or would you need something a little more specialised to deal with the humidity? Thank you so much in advance if you happen to see this, I'm looking forward to catching up on all your videos either way
