That's a creative way to use the electrical box to solve 2 problems. Mount the wiring and light kit, and use the built in hardware to mount to the frame. Nice work.

I love ths design. I think I'm going to slightly modify the design by adding a paper shroud, and mounting it on a complementary looking floor stand so it can be a in a corner of my room. :) Great work as always.

A hack saw, once it bites, would make quick work of it... but I would just use an angle grinder

Pendant lights need protection. The project shown here fulfills this basic criterion. His instruments are professional. Skillfully he assembles everything. It's a perfect match of wood and iron. Measurements are accurate. I look at how perfectly he drills at top of table without damaging it. His hands are perfect to do an authentic work. Rectangular wooden frames took time for construction. Now these rectangular frames need to be worked together to build the protective case for pendant lamp. The iron structure at top from where pendant light is hanging is accurately and stubbornly screwed to wood. Mounting whole structure on roof is tough but he does it skillfully this man is pro.

You sure have a lot of patience cutting through angle iron with an handsaw. Just an observation though adding an acrylic to cover the outer part wouldn’t have been a bad idea it would have made the bulb shine more. Love from Nigeria.
