Guys remember his hair is short and heat is produced from the sculp so it will develop alot quicker at this length plus use argan oil instead of coconut oil, the coconut oil acts as a condition leaving hair smooth and silk but doesn't do much to repair the damage. Argan oil molecules are smaller and the bonds get inside the hair repairing it from the inside out and outside in. I recommend you verify everything I just said for your own benefit. All the best guys 👍🏽

@shannondeasishughes42833 жыл бұрын
If you want ginger red.....from a platinum blonde I would suggest to get the color corrector first to wash out the platinum, now if it’s already faded and it’s back to a pale yellow or icy white, i suggest to just use Demi or permanent reds as a color deposit...by then you’ll achieve the beautiful hair color you wanted. Please note to always look and see reference from the color chart for a better shade of reds.

@@shannondeasishughes4283 sorry forgot to say my hair is dark brown almost black
@shannondeasishughes42833 жыл бұрын
@@jared997 there’s an easy way to achieve ginger red even without bleaching as long as it’s virgin hair, because ginger red are basically red orange and that falls to copper or burgundy mix. You can use any brand of color with higher numbers like 9.34, 9.43 mix with 9.5 and used a 40 volume or 12 percent. Application 1/2 inch away from the roots timed for 25 mins then apply the roots same mix numbers with 20 volume, 30 if you can take the high heat from developer. If you’re hair is colored with dark brown then you need to bleach it until its lighter then you gotta apply the desired color.

With the system on, my back looked like a raccoon's tale! LOL! I must have watched 20 videos and admit I was fearful of the dye process (In my 20's, I had dark brown hair with black and even red strands intermixed, and I tried to go blonde without knowing what I was doing... and of course, I ended up with mustard colored hair!). This method works alright if you have super short hair and want to spend more time using 20 developer instead of 40, but definitely wouldn't be advertising this for everyone, and I bet more women are looking for videos than men. I've done hair for over 20 years and done permanent black/red to platinum blonde a lot. Coconut oil has the function of seeming like it's healthy for the hair because it fills space in your hair that you depleted from the bleach, but doesn't help it instantly and is very temporary. It's also good because it repels water from your hair (and if you know what your hair feels like in humid weather, well it's basically a frizz-b-gone). It can also help to use alonside a protein mask as it helps work with protein in your folicle to keep them in the hair instead of it washing out. So you'd have to use it way more over time than with bleach. You should actually be using a bond with bleach to help keep your hair in a better condition than coconut oil. And as stated.. you might as well be using 40 developer if you're going back to back with 20 in a short time frame. Youd basically want to wait a few weeks for your hair to calm down and heal before you go in again with bleach, because yes there is a point of no return so it's better to get in that habit of spacing it out.. but also the hair is super short here.. just adding disclaimers that should had been added here so people don't go f'n up there hair..
