Hi, I’ve made this with wooden legs but I’m getting quite a bit of left to right wobble. What would you suggest would be a good way of strengthening the table so I don’t get the wobble. Thanks

Don't feel bad about leaving the curve pieces long at first, that was smart. When bending electrical conduit, we can calculate the resulting "shrink" in length. Not so much with this project. You can always cut, but you can't add on if it's to short. Also, this is inspiring, another great project👍🏿

Aww, you made me homesick for Columbus with the Microcenter sponsor, which (at least the shot of the storefront) was done at head store that was right around the corner from where I used to live. A big thing they don't advertise a lot of is they will pricematch even online retailers like Newegg and Amazon. Ok I miss other things to... like my family there... LOL

Great video and concept. Maybe as a critique. The lighting for the final product seems kind of bland and flat which doesn’t do justice of how well this piece looks. To remedy that, I think investing in some lights in recreating a “natural indoor sunlight,” or more homey feeling. It would create your videos and product placements pop, with greater depth and vibrancy. Love your video concepts and the work you do! Keep up the great work and looking for the next major house build!

Is 3/4 in plywood stiff enough to not worry about sag in the desk. I was planning on putting a mid-tower and monitor on it.
@7R15M3G1
@7R15M3G1 3 жыл бұрын
Really depends on the plywood, most furniture grade ply should be fine for normal desk size. Unless you have a super long desk anyways. If you are not going after these specific design elements I would recommend doubling up for extra sturdiness and also to add some visual weight. However I over build everything.

This is great but if I saw this correctly on the site, they are charging $57 for a raw steel individual leg. So you’re looking at $114 for the legs before taxes. That’s a bit steep for my budget. The laptop storage section looks good but it’ll just collect dusk in my place. Looking forward to seeing more of these diy project. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive for me.
